This is a great opportunity to begin an artistic journey, expand your knowledge, or just have a place to go for creative release. There will be artistic mentors available for guided creative direction, assistance with techniques and housekeeping. Creators can bring their own projects or start a new one, can bring their own supplies or use supplies available at the studio, and can collaborate or work alone. This is for ages 13 & up. There is a suggested $5 donation per person.
Friday Night LIVE
EVERY Friday 7:30 – 10pm
This is for teenage creators, 13 and up, in the community. It is a safe place to mingle, collaborate, and create aside other artists their age. Creators can bring their own projects or start something new, can bring their own supplies or use the provided studio supplies. There will be artistic mentors available for guided creative direction and assistance with techniques. The cost is $13.
** Creators being dropped off that are under the age of 17 MUST have a signed parent waiver on file. ALL creators MUST be signed in and out EVERY time. Creators that drive themselves may sign themselves in and out but MUST have a signed parent waiver on file.
Family Art Night
EVERY Sunday 6:30 – 7:30pm
A time for families to come together for an artistic experience. At least three different engaging activities for the whole family. Parents may NOT drop their kids off. The idea is to cultivate creativity with the entire family. Parents are encouraged to fully participate as an act of encouragement to their young creator. The cost is $5 per person children 3 and under are free.
Our personal mentor program is designed to offer an intimate mentorship through individual growth and expectation. Our mirrormen are experienced creators employed to personally assist our students in the developmental stepping stones of our programs. Through artistic interrogation, one on one creative studies, and field work our mentors will help students achieve their ultimate expectations in personal development.
WAC is built on the idea of an artistic community capable of making healthy decisions in both the creative process as well as our everyday scenarios. With our Group Mentor Program we will help each other grow and continue to develop through encouragement, constructive criticism, and community. With group discussion, collective creative studies, and field work WAC will help stride to be positive additions to any community.
